Who Is Ida?
Ida - the greatest opening of a modern science.jpeg

I was on very interesting site. Site Revealing the Link describes Ida as the greatest opening of a modern science telling about early evolution of monkeys, primacies and people, that is as something absolutely incomparable.
On a site there is specially created film, telling about Ida, the book "The Link" also is presented.
Those two parts into which the fossil of a new sort and new kind Darwinius masillae has been divided long years (a photo and illustration PLoS ONE).jpeg

Perhaps, none of the discoveries of last years was not covered in the press as loudly and sensationally, as present: "a new kind of mammals", "an ancient primacy" or as researchers name him, "a missing link in evolution of the person" and "the eighth miracle of the world", a name to which Ida. If you wish to understand, that scientists have found out, I suggest to visit a site.

In these photos of hind limb(on the right: it is received by means of x-ray radiation) it is visible, that at Ida there is no "toilet claw", and the big finger is opposed the rests, as at primacies. A scale ruler - 5 centimetres (photo PLoS ONE).

3)The scientists' findings were subjected to a full peer review prior to publication.
The paper was published on Tuesday 19th May 2009 by PLoS One, the interactive open-access journal for the communication of all peer-reviewed scientific and medical research from the Public Library of Science.
The paper can be read by anyone online at: <http://dx.plos.org/10.1371/journal.pone.0005723>
