At electrolysis bismuth salt, metal is precipitate on both electrodes....
Somebody can explain it?
This process is described in many books... But an explanation I`ve not found .

What electrodes? After all if inert, metal will not be precipitated on both electrodes.

Bismuth - metal of variable valency. I think it can be connected with formation anions in a solution.

In what it in many books? I hear for the first time, in one book did not see, and in general bismuth precipitation can be only on the cathode
