Genghis Khan can be the father of 16 million men
Professor Bryan Sykes and his colleagues from Oxford University (www.ox.ac.uk) have found out, that the Genghis Khan has left the genetic inheritance to 16 million the men living today on our planet. We can tell, that the Genghis Khan most successful "father" in human history.
Scientists have suggested the British men to pass genetic tests to find out, whether are they descendants of the Genghis Khan .
During DNA analysis, researchers searched at participants of experiment, traces of a Y-chromosome of the Mongolian khan which named "super Y".
This chromosome as scientists consider, is passed in an invariable kind from the father to the son.
As a result of the research, genetics have come to conclusion, that traces "super Y" are at eight percent of men.
It means, that the chromosome proceeds from one person living in XII or XIII century. Having compared other facts, scientific have decided, that it is a chromosome of the Genghis Khan .
The hypothesis has the right to existence as, winning new territory, the army of the Genghis Khan as a rule killed men and forced women.
Incontestable proofs of the theory could be received, if it would be possible to find a tomb of the khan and to carry out the comparative analysis. But meanwhile it is impossible.
